Rosemary McKenzie is Deputy Head of the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne, having previously been Director of Teaching and Learning for a decade. She is an educator, evaluator and health services researcher focused on health service quality and outcomes, with her most recent research investigating the quality of telehealth delivered by national primary care helplines.

Rosemary has a sustained history of community engagement, leadership and service in the health, education and cultural sectors. She has previously been a Board member of Hepatitis Victoria, a Trustee of the Bendigo Art Gallery and Deputy President of the Council of Bendigo College of Advanced Education. She was a member of the Victorian Health Services Review Council and a member of the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner Advisory Council.

Professor McKenzie has served on Peter Mac’s Board since 2019, during which time she has chaired the Primary Care and Population Health Committee and Consumer Advisory Committee. She has also been a member of the Audit and Risk, Finance, Quality and Safety, People and Culture, Environmental Sustainability and Remuneration committees.

From July 2025 she will also serve as the inaugural Chair of the newly established Parkville Local Health Service Network.
