Talking about the C Word
The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department invites you to our biennial nutrition oncology seminar, “Talking about the ‘C’ Word”, which will be held at Peter Mac in Melbourne on Friday 15th of September 2023.
This is a full day seminar aimed at dietitians working in oncology. Presentations will explore various facets within the world of cancer and nutrition, and give attendees insights into exciting aspects of research, clinical practice, topics of interest and the future of oncology care. Dietitians, students and health professionals interested in nutrition and oncology are welcome.
This face-to-face 1-day event is for dietitians and student dietitians and is focused on the patient’s cancer path ‘From Diagnosis to Survivorship’.
We have an excellent program planned to showcase the latest research and clinical innovations in oncology nutrition including expert speakers presenting on blenderised tube feeding in Head and Neck Cancer Patients, the use of home parenteral nutrition and management of complex gastrointestinal conditions after treatment.
